All of our yoga classes place emphasis on building strength and flexibility, bringing more awareness and focused attention to the breath, and learning how to relax the mind & body.
Yoga Flow:
Weaving hatha yoga postures into a flow with detailed instruction. Various versions of sun salutations, standing and seated postures, and meditation will be explored. Heavily influenced by Vinyasa and Viniyoga. The class sometimes ends with yin style stretching. Come with an open mind!
Meditative Yoga, all levels:
Meditative or "Yin" Yoga is a deeply meditative practice holding postures for an extended period of time. This class targets the connective tissue of the hips, pelvis and lower spine. Yin style stretching can compliment and may balance more active forms of yoga, martial arts and other activities. It is a great aid for learning to sit in meditation.
Workshops & Private Classes:
These classes are created specifically for an individual or group. We will develop a class to meet your needs. Come to our studio or we will come to you.
